Our new service starting in 2011 forms part of building diagnostics that has been present in Hungary until now only in thoughts and words. The service is a procedure comprising one or more steps, and with the help of the respective parts decisions can be made. It is important that we look for comprehensive and safe solutions, and of course undertake the liability for the works performed.

Main steps of the service:

We detail this a little deeper. Germans do not take risks; after installing almost 200,000 pieces of fortifying elements, German experts know at first sight where the problem might be. However, they strive for complete safety, and independently from the conditions of the structure, they install fortification everywhere, sometimes even by disintegrating the already installed insulation. Below, I would like to show some photos which demonstrate the external signs indicating the shifting of the panel crust.

Before showing pictures of the facade elements, it is worth taking a look at the following German examples where we can see quite clearly that the external crust is not of the same thickness everywhere. Probably the situation is the same inHungary. Think it over – while looking at the pictures – what kind of damages the anchors of good quality cause in the structure with the present fixing (practically, they almost crack the internal surface of the crust because of cement pressure, so that they have place to expand), and what happens if the anchor located in the external crust – as seen in the picture – does not have place where to fix?

In the next pictures we show the signs that can be seen on the facade, which show clearly that there is some problem with the structural solutions. Now we have also Hungarian examples, without striving for a complete list:

When panel gaps disappear, one panel crust slides onto another, and if more than one element do this, the heavy load cause cracks to appear (this can happen either to vertical or horizontal gaps).

These pictures were taken on 26 May 2011 at the given address. These buildings are among the winners of the 2009 ZBR tender. They are not equipped with complete insulation system yet, which means that we not even loaded the panel crusts yet. Still, there are clear damages resulting of the shift of panel crusts. (Consider that when the anchors are installed into the heat insulation material that is put onto the element with the graffiti, the whole element may come off in the line of the crack…) I ask then, what happens if the surface slides (or comes off in worse case) after the installation of the heat insulation, and cracks appear along the lines of the panel crust elements? Who will undertake guarantee for that? (the contractor or the manufacturer…) How will the surface be repaired?

In the above pictures, we can clearly see the signs which show to the expert beyond doubt that the panel crusts of the building are not fixed according to the original way of installation anymore. That is why it is important to take care of their fortification before placing any external facade insulation onto them.

-  identifying the panel building structure for the preparation of sizing

-  sizing of the envisaged insulation system (layer order, weight)

-  structural sizing of panel elements (whether it is able to support the layer order of the heat insulation system to be placed onto it)

-  in the light of the results of sizing, a technological proposal is made for the establishment of “fix” structure (price proposal, allocation drawing, type and installation design of fixing elements etc.)

-  depending on the completion of heat insulation system – or if there is no heat insulation to be prepared – installing fixing elements, using a special, water-cooled drilling device

-  professional documentation of the full building structure process
